SpaceX head Elon Musk has outlined ambitious prospects for the development of the space industry, which include expeditions beyond the Solar System and potential encounters with intelligent beings from other worlds. The businessman emphasized his aspiration to turn science fiction scenarios into reality, reports MIR24.
According to Musk, in the near term the corporation will focus on manufacturing massive crewed spacecraft for expeditions to the Moon, Mars, and other celestial bodies in our planetary system.
The SpaceX chief stressed that the primary objective is developing the means to reach distant stars, where he believes extraterrestrial life or advanced societies from other worlds may exist.
