The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Pakistani Ambassador held negotiations on organizing meetings at the highest state level

Turkmenistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Pakistan's Ambassador Faryal Leghari in Ashgabat, during which the organization of reciprocal visits by the leaders of both countries scheduled for 2026 was discussed. This information was published by Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the negotiations, the diplomats addressed numerous aspects of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the new year. The meeting participants reviewed the list of agreements planned to be signed during 2026.
Priority attention was focused on organizing several key events: the sixth session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, political dialogue between the heads of the foreign policy departments of both states, as well as a business forum with participation of representatives from business circles of the two countries.
