Negotiations with Leading Chinese Technology Companies Held in Ashgabat

The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan held a series of meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies operating in the field of technology and telecommunications. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annaev and Minister of Communications Hajymyrat Hudaygulyyev participated in the negotiations.
During the meetings, prospects for expanding Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in the field of high technologies were examined. The parties discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects, including the establishment of research centers in the field of artificial intelligence, the introduction of Internet of Things solutions and the concept of "smart cities," as well as the development of neural network and quantum technologies.
Minister Hudaygulyyev emphasized that artificial intelligence is a strategic priority for Turkmenistan at the infrastructure level and is regarded as a key tool for improving the efficiency of public administration, as well as for the development of medicine, education, and other sectors of the economy. According to him, the combination of China's advanced experience and Turkmenistan's strategic development directions opens up broad opportunities for partnership.
Negotiations were held with representatives of the companies Huawei Technologies Co., LTD, FE ZTE INVESTMENT LLC, Shanghai DTSpace Futech Auto Tech Co., Xinjiang Poplar Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and China Information and Communication Technologies Group Corporation.
