The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium Sapar Palvanov held a meeting with the Permanent Representative of the Hellenic Republic to the European Union Ioannis Vrailas, during which were reviewed the current state and prospects of Turkmen-Greek relations. This was reported on Monday by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium. The parties noted the positive dynamics of trade turnover and progressive changes at the political level, emphasizing that the bilateral dialogue recently is acquiring a more stable and substantive character. Separate attention was paid to cooperation in the format European Union – Turkmenistan. The participants of the meeting pointed to the importance of activating interaction, further strengthening the treaty-legal framework, and the consistent institutionalization of relations between Turkmenistan and the EU. In conclusion of the meeting, mutual interest was confirmed in expanding directions of cooperation and bringing the partnership to a higher quality level, meeting the interests of both sides.
