Turkmen Foreign Ministry Analyzed Results of Cooperation with UN for 2025 and Outlined Future Plans

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with a UN regional office to analyze joint work over the past year and plan future cooperation.
Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Kaha Imnadze, who heads the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia and serves as the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the organization. During the negotiations, participants analyzed the results of cooperation in 2025 and outlined plans for the upcoming period.
According to information from the Turkmen foreign policy department, the meeting discussed the development of program and project initiatives in regional format with the participation of all Central Asian states.
A separate topic was the discussion of proposals by the Turkmen leader regarding a University of Peace and Neutrality under UN auspices. Meeting participants confirmed their intention to continue intensive work on bringing this idea to life.
