Turkmen-Iranian consultations on organizing the VII Caspian Summit were held in the Iranian capital.

From December 21 to 23, a Turkmen delegation led by Murad Atajanov, head of the Caspian Institute, made a working visit to Tehran to discuss organizational matters for the upcoming VII Summit of heads of Caspian states.
According to information from the MIC, during the Turkmen delegation's stay, negotiations were held with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi and key specialists from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The focus of the negotiation process was on coordinating a package of documents that are proposed to be included in the agenda of the VII Caspian Summit. Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening the legal framework for cooperation and consolidating approaches to ensuring regional security, environmental stability, and developing transport and logistics infrastructure, the source reports.
It is worth recalling that based on the results of the sixth summit, which took place in the Turkmen capital, it was decided that the seventh meeting of Caspian states leaders will be held in Iran.
